Here's Johnny!

A challenge was set by an online photographic group that I follow to come up with an image inspired by a scene from a film. It’s easy enough to think of a favourite film scene, the trick is to come up with one that it is relatively easy to set up and photograph. All I had to do was find a door that I could stick an axe through and somebody who looked like Jack Nicholson and/or a homicidal maniac. I could have used the white side of the door, but that would have looked too close to the original (just Google ‘The Shining’ and look at the images to see what I was emulating).
