Photography has been my life-long passion and so it made perfect sense that I turned this love of capturing people, places and treasured moments into a full time profession. In 2007 I opened ‘Bentham Imaging’, my studio and gallery in Bentham, a small working town situated just on the edge of the Forest of Bowland which is sandwiched between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. I feel very fortunate to be working in what is arguably the most beautiful countryside in England but assignments also take me into cities and towns such as Lancaster, Kendal and Skipton. However, I am very happy to travel further afield and can often be found photographing weddings in Cheshire and North Cumbria.

Since Bentham Imaging was founded, I have been awarded an Associateship in Photography (ASITTP) from the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers and have won several Gold Awards in the Society’s competitions. In addition to other National and International awards, I have also won the ‘Living The View’ category in the Take-a-View Landscape Photographer of the Year and have been featured in The Sunday Times supplement. My photographs have also been seen in many other national glossies.
